About Mrs. Rosso

“Hello, I am Julia Rosso, and I began teaching in Volusia County in 2000.  In these 20+ years I have taught multiple grade levels and content areas. I am originally from Chicago; however, I grew up right here in Volusia County.   I graduated from Wesleyan College in Macon, GA.
I am a mother to two children and multiple pets (you’ll hear about them I am sure).  My husband and I love to take our kids camping and traveling.  We hope to get to all states at some point, we are more than halfway there to date.
Some of my hobbies include hiking, gardening, cooking, reading, jogging, and traveling.   I love teaching and can’t wait to get to know your son/daughter/student better.  I hope to inspire a love of Science, themselves, and the world we all share.”

Classroom Wishlist

We  will practice science through labs and things get a bit messy at times.  Our class is always in need of paper towels, sanitizing wipes, and newspaper.  Please feel free to send any of these items in throughout the school year.  I've also developed an Amazon wish list for more specific items.   The button below will take you directly there.  Thank you, in advance, for your generosity and support!
